The International Business, Marketing and Branding Research Centre is currently taking a leading role in shaping and driving the Marketing and International Business fields for the School and University. As a result, the School is committed to supporting this strategy with the appointment of Professor in Marketing to contribute to research, teaching and academic leadership capability in this field.  The successful candidate will join the IBMB Research Centre, which is a key area of future growth and investment for the School.

The successful candidate must possess a Doctorate in a relevant field and will be expected to have a significant research publication track record at 3* or 4* CABS journal level. The candidate will also need to have a highly reputable external profile in the Marketing field and have secured external research funding. Ideally, the candidate will need to evidence productive research and scholarship agenda focused on responsible and digital marketing, demonstrating the ability to publish in internationally-ranked peer-reviewed journals. The candidate will be expected to lead and contribute to the development and direction of Responsible and Digital Marketing at the School and University level. 

We are looking for candidates who have led and contributed to the development of world-class programmes and delivered an outstanding education.  The post holder should have experience of successful supervision and graduation of doctoral students and delivering teaching at all levels which will contribute towards the School's leading FT ranked distance learning MBA programme. The successful candidate will also need to evidence business and community engagement activities with local and international business/organisations that will provide opportunity for the University with meaningful interaction for relevant collaboration opportunities. The post holder may be required to assume a management level responsibility, appropriate at the time of appointment.
