The University of Southampton has an ambitious portfolio of change, designed to help deliver the goals and objectives outlined in our University Strategy.

The University Change Portfolio Office reports into the Chief Operating Officer and is responsible for supporting the delivery of the University’s strategy, through the management of the Strategic Major Projects portfolio and its constituent programmes and projects.

The Student Experience Programme is a key transformation programme that seeks to develop our approach to the delivery of services for students. This will enable rapid development of the student experience and will contribute directly to the University’s Strategic Plan and its aims to improve the student experience.

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced part-time Programme Administrator.  You will support the Student Experience Programme team with administrative support including coordinating and diarising meetings, servicing meetings, general communications, and maintaining programme management documents.   Exact days and hours to be worked are open for negotiation.

You will have good communication, record keeping, planning, organisational interpersonal and customer service skills and must be able to demonstrate that you can work accurately and within relevant policies and procedures. You will be an excellent team player with a proven ability to work proactively and manage your own workload.

You will have a skill level (including experience and other qualifications) equivalent to HNC, A-level, NVQ level 3, good IT skills including use of Microsoft Office and related software.

If you would like to discuss the role in more detail, please contact Phil Bailey, Programme Manager via email P.J.Bailey@soton.ac.uk.
