Salary in range of £41,526 - £49,553 per annum pro rata. London Allowance of £2,134 will be payable in addition to salary. 

A clinical lecturer supplement of £8588.00 will be payable in addition to salary, (pro rata for the part time positions). 

We are very pleased to announce the availability of three lectureships on the Doctorate in Clinical Psychology. 

One post is full-time, and two posts are part time (0.6 and 0.8); applicants should say which of these they are interested in. The posts are fairly unique in offering candidates the opportunity to work across academic, research and clinical aspects of the Course, including supervising doctoral and masters level research in a clinical area of their choice. 

Those appointed will also have a major role in one aspect of the Course, either practice placements, trainee selection, research or academic assessments.  

This is a really exciting time for clinical psychology, with another substantial expansion of training, and the post offers an opportunity for the person appointed to develop the Course in line with current and future NHS priorities. They will join a friendly, close-knit team of 12 academic staff and three administrative staff who are committed to training high quality clinical psychologists to meet the psychological needs of the population.  

In addition, the DClinPsy is an integral part of a vibrant Psychology Department, which ranks among the top 10 psychology departments for research in the country. The posts are designated as a lectureships within the professional practice pathway, which recognises and rewards the applied nature of the work of clinical psychology.   

The appointee will have the opportunity to develop their interests in applied areas of clinical psychology. Applicants should have a doctorate in clinical psychology and relevant experience in the NHS.
