Working within the Department of Entrepreneurship, Innovation and Strategy at Newcastle Business School, which is ranked in the Top 30 of the Guardian Subject Rankings,you will join a team of world-leading and internationally excellent business scholars.
You will contribute to research, informed learning and teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels; and undertake research, enterprise and scholarly activities, and income generation, contributing to the Faculty’s research profile.
You must be able to demonstrate successful team working coupled with the ability to teach effectively on a range of programmes using a variety of approaches to student learning. You will have a PhD and a research record enabling you to make a significant contribution to the School’s research agenda. It is also essential that you have had success in applying for external research funding and have appropriate knowledge of future potential funding bodies aligned to your area(s) of research interest.
We are interested in applicants who will be able to deliver on,and potentially manage, undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in the areas of entrepreneurship and innovation. Applicants must have expertise in the areas of entrepreneurship and innovation. We are particularly interested in those with experience of delivering distance learning (online) education and with expertise in digital innovation.

Currently, due to COVID-19, academic staff will normally be on campus for approximately two days per week when face to face teaching is scheduled, and as required to undertake research using specialist facilities.
