The University of Lincoln is seeking to appoint a Senior International Officer who will lead on the University’s student recruitment activity across South East Asia. The successful candidate will be part of a dynamic international team, and will play a crucial role in building the University’s global brand.
Since Her Majesty the Queen opened the first University of Lincoln building on the Brayford Pool Campus, we have welcomed more than 90,000 students from across 135 countries. The University was named as the Modern University of the Year in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021, and holds a top five-star score overall in the QS Stars rating system of global universities.
As Senior International Officer, the post holder will be expected to build and manage a network of International Representatives, educational partners and recruitment channels across South East Asia. The post holder will also be expected to take on additional recruitment responsibilities, at a global level, as Business Partner for a particular subject area.
Combining a range of existing skill sets and experiences, the post holder will be expected to lead on the development and implementation of cost-effective recruitment strategies in-line with agreed targets. In addition to strong communication and networking skills, the ideal candidate will have experience of working in a higher education or recruitment setting. The ideal candidate will also have experience of building international articulation partnerships in Malaysia.
Please note that this post requires a flexible approach to accommodate unsociable hours and overseas travel (up to 15 weeks per year and additional if required).
If you share our passion for education and internationalisation and enjoy working in a dynamic and fast paced environment we would love to hear from you.
