Applications are invited for the Post of Senior Research Fellow (1 no.) for a DBT Project, in the Centre for Bio-separation Technology (CBST), Vellore Institute of Technology (VIT), Vellore

“Development of a monoclonal antibody-based diagnostic method for the specific detection of COVID-19 viral antigens”

Qualification

Essential: Post Graduate Degree in Life -Sciences / Microbiology/Biotechnology or and any other relevant area of biology with NET/GATE with minimum of two years of relevant research experience

Desirable:

• Candidates MUST have very good research experience in recombinant expression of proteins, monoclonal antibody development and characterization, immunoanalytical assays, cell culture techniques. Selected candidate must join immediately.

Stipend: Rs.35,000 /- per month + 8 % HRA
Sponsoring Agency: Department of Biotechnology (DBT), Government of India
Duration: 6 months (may get extension).
