About You
We are seeking an individual with resilience and ambition with exceptional leadership and motivational skills and experience of team leadership in a complex environment.

You will demonstrate expert knowledge of research governance, as well as strategic awareness of REF and KEF agendas. We aim to provide high quality services including bid support, post-award project management, targeted internal research support funds, providing a robust research governance environment, a comprehensive researcher development programme from PGRs to professors. Our goal is that the hard work that both academics and PSS staff working in research support is recognised by an improved outcome in REF2021.

Edge Hill University has been improving its research performance year on year for the last decade. Having started from a modest base, over 50% of our academic staff are now research active and grant income has risen sharply as have successful PhD completions, without our having lost our focus on what it took to achieve TEF Gold. This ambitious trajectory is set to continue. If you are someone who can contribute positively to this ambition, we would love to hear from you.

Rewards/Benefits
Working at Edge Hill means working in a distinctly empowering environment, where culture and collaboration are valued above traditional process-driven thinking. This is a workplace where you can really make a difference.
