Role

This is an exciting opportunity for a Senior Research Fellow to join our team on a 2 year Fixed Term Contract on a full time basis!

A component of the role will be responsible for undertaking and delivering in key areas of the research programme drawing upon evidence-based practice in researching complex intervention studies. The Talent 25 research programme seeks to understand how cultural engagement can be enhanced, and we would particularly welcome applications from candidates with comprehensive experience and the scientific know-how and ability to further develop the research programme theory/theory of change model and evaluation approaches. The Talent 25 research programme is multi-disciplinary and collaborative; therefore, there will be a requirement to work with academics and key stakeholders outside of DMU and some work links to our international activities.

Ideal Candidate

This position is ideally suited to an individual with a strong understanding of impact and evaluation measures in intervention studies. We would welcome applications from candidates with an understanding and research expertise of mixed methods. We are especially interested in candidates whose research and academic profile demonstrate the ability to use initiative, with experience of programme theory/theory of change model, and researching complex interventions. Suitable candidates will have knowledge of a range of participatory research designs in any relevant discipline, including behavioural sciences, social sciences, health and humanities. Moreover, the candidate will possess an ability to design, deliver interventions and represent the mission of the Talent 25 programme to academics, practitioners and the general public.
