Applications are invited for appointment as Lecturer/Assistant Lecturer in the Department of Pharmacology and Pharmacy (Ref.: 504313), to commence as soon as possible, on a three-year fixed-term basis, with the possibility of renewal.

Applicants should possess a Master’s degree or above in pharmacy and be a registered pharmacist in Hong Kong.  He/She should have at least 3 years’ post-qualification full-time experience in community pharmacy practice.  Experience in pharmacy programme development, assessment and evaluation would be an advantage.  The appointee will develop and enhance the Department’s teaching programmes, undertake teaching duties at both undergraduate and postgraduate levels, supervise students, and contribute to administrative duties in the Department.  He/She will also be assigned duties as a pharmacist at designated practising sites to provide clinical services and patient care.  Irregular working hours will be required occasionally.  Those with less experience may be considered for appointment as Assistant Lecturer.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.   The appointment will attract a contract end gratuity and University contribution to a retirement benefits scheme, totalling up to 15% of basic salary for Lecturer, or up to 10% of basic salary for Assistant Lecturer.
