Full time: 35 hours per week

The School of Health and Life Sciences is one of the largest integrated schools combining health and life science programmes. Our graduates make an immense contribution to improving the health and wellbeing of communities across the globe. 

This post will be based in our new Lanarkshire Campus within the Division of Biological Sciences and Health supporting the highly attractive Applied Bioscience and Zoology programme and contributing to learning, teaching and research across the school. Flexibility to travel to other campuses as required is desirable.

As an experienced scientist in the field of zoology/environmental biology you will have a relevant Ph.D. along with a proven track record in your field of research. Experience in learning and teaching in higher education is essential; a postgraduate qualification in education/teaching and/or HEA fellowship are desirable. 

As a Lecturer you would be expected to make a significant contribution to the student experience through delivery of teaching across a number of modules and to work pro-actively in pursuit of external research and knowledge exchange funding.
