Situated in the heart of a beautiful and historic city, The University of Lincoln has built an international reputation for the quality of its teaching and research. The University was named as the Modern University of the Year in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021. It is an ambitious and dynamic organisation which prides itself on deep engagement with employers and its local communities, and thought-leadership within the UK HE sector.

A vacancy has arisen for an experienced administrator to join the International Admissions team within Student Administration at the University of Lincoln. The role is an exciting opportunity for the right candidate, who will contribute to the delivery of key strategic activities fulfilled by the team, whilst ensuring that University procedures and processes are adhered to.

Reporting to the International Admissions Manager, this is a senior role within the International Admissions team. The team are responsible for processing applications from all overseas fee paying students, ensuring that applicants meet both University and UK Visa and Immigration (UKVI) requirements.

You will be an experienced administrator with a proven ability to organise and prioritise your own workload, and that of other team members, in order to meet tight deadlines and with minimal supervision. You must therefore be adept at managing your own time and determining priorities. You will have experience of working in a demanding, customer-focused environment and will be an effective and flexible team member. Finally, you will be expected to independently apply knowledge and judgement to respond to non-standard applications and queries and to offer advice and guidance to academic colleagues when assessing applications.
