The Faculty of Business and Law has an excellent reputation for teaching quality across a wide range of undergraduate, postgraduate and professional courses. Excellent teaching is at the heart of our commitment to professional, creative and vocational education.

The role

The Faculty will be recruiting Lecturers and Senior Lecturers to cover four programmes launching from DMU Dubai: Business and Management, Accounting and Finance, LLB and an MBA programme at our Dubai campus.

The person

You will be able to provide excellent teaching to the university in the relevant areas of expertise. Of particular interest are applicants who can teach across a variety of disciplines as well as teach on research methods. To be an active citizen of the subject group and the Department, engaging with international collaborative partnerships, and work closely with local business communities. You will be educated to Masters degree level (or higher) and have experience of teaching a business-related discipline in Higher Education, or significant professional industry experience. Ideally, your experience will cover at least two of the following areas:

Business and Management: Strategy, Human Resource Management, Innovation management, Operations and supply chain management, Project Management and Organisational resilience/business continuity/ the resilient enterprise.

Accounting and Finance: Management accounting, Business taxation, Corporate Finance, Financial Reporting.

LLB: Constitutional and Administrative Law, English and European Legal Contexts, Law of Contract, Criminal Law

MBA: Corporate Social Responsibility, Business Research, Business Sustainability, Academic skills, Strategy and Organisational Management.
