The School of Law and Criminology is situated in the historic world heritage site of the Old Royal Naval College. It is home to over 900 students, studying on our undergraduate LLB, LLB Study Abroad, and LLB Senior Status programmes and our postgraduate LLM International and Commercial Law, as well as our suite of undergraduate and postgraduate programmes in Criminology. The School places the student experience at the heart of its approach to teaching and pastoral care and consistently scores extremely well in student satisfaction surveys.

This vacancy offers an exciting opportunity for enthusiastic and committed academics to complement our existing team by making an outstanding contribution to the teaching and research at the School of Law and Criminology in the University of Greenwich.

You will work closely with the dedicated Law team to help to continue the School of Law and Criminology’s progress as a centre of teaching and research excellence. The successful candidates will be expected to deliver innovative teaching in a range of areas including the Law of Tort, Public Law, Equity and EU Law. We are also interested in those who could contribute teaching on Employment Law and Environmental Law.

You must be able to demonstrate a strong teaching profile and a proven commitment to the student experience, including supporting student’s wellbeing. A PhD (or near completion) is essential, as is energy, enthusiasm and a commitment to play a full and active role in the life of the School of Law and Criminology

For an informal discussion, please contact the Programme Leader for the LLB, Kristian Humble (k.p.humble@gre.ac.uk).
