With 1000s of learners each year, 6 flagship programmes and a major strategic collaboration between UCD, TU Dublin and seven enterprise sectors (Convene), the UCD Innovation Academy (IA) seeks to recruit an Education Innovation Lead (Sustainability) for the development of its educational programmes in sustainability offered by the UCD Innovation Academy. We are looking for individuals with a passion for experiential education and experience in sustainability.

This is firstly a teaching role, but with significant responsibility for programme design, development, innovation in learning approaches and team leadership, as well as supporting the financial and operational development of our programmes. Reporting to the Head of Programme Development, you will design and deliver a specified portfolio of courses and programmes to enable high-quality learning outcomes and innovative, 'next practice' initiatives. Managing and inspiring a diverse team of 2-5 Entrepreneurial Specialists, Facilitation Specialists and Occasional Lecturers, you will facilitate students' learning through creating a vibrant learning environment (in-person and live online).

You will support continuous improvement of current activities and innovate new programmes from identifying needs, prototyping, evaluation, seeking academic approval and rollout. As Education Innovation Lead, you will help build the credibility and financial sustainability of our programmes, enabling world-class innovative learning programmes with the potential for systemic change. 95 Senior Administrative Officer IV (2013) Salary Scale: €59,324 - €93,293 per annum

The appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guidelines.
