Head of Short Academic Programmes

Circa £45,000

Lady Margaret Hall is a constituent College of the University of Oxford and is located in peaceful, spacious gardens beside the University Parks.

The College is seeking a Head of Short Academic Programmes to lead the development and delivery of its short academic programmes business. Between 2018 and 2020, the College established a thriving business providing short academic programmes in the College vacations. Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the 2021 programmes are being held online. The Head of Short Academic Programmes will be responsible for consolidating and growing the business. This is an exciting role for someone with a range of skills who understands the Oxford academic world, complemented by general business and project management skills, and who would thrive under the challenges of managing the short academic programmes within a supportive and friendly collegiate environment.

The Head of Short Academic Programmes will be responsible for leading the development of a portfolio of programmes, for recruiting academic staff to lead and teach the programmes and for the quality of the student experience.

They will be expected to promote the courses overseas, working closely with the College’s Academic Office to develop relationships with international universities. Supported by colleagues in the Conference team, they will also lead the practical aspects of programme delivery.
