Job Description
The East Asian Institute (EAI), National University of Singapore, is inviting applications from suitable candidates in the field of East Asian development, particularly in the political, economic and social development of Contemporary China (including Hong Kong and Taiwan), as well as China’s growing economic relations with the region, including Japan, Korea and ASEAN. The appointment will be for a period of three months.
Job Responsibilities
- To interact intensively with the political team in EAI and to sharpen their research agenda.
- To deliver a lecture for the EAI Distinguished Public Lecture series.
- To author a policy paper for the EAI Background Brief series.
Qualifications
Candidates must have a PhD degree with 10 or more years of research experience, as well as demonstrated capability to achieve research excellence. They must possess good writing skills with a strong record of publications and research grants received.
