Applications are invited for a 2 year post of a Lecturer/Assistant Professor in French within UCD School of Languages, Cultures and Linguistics.

The person appointed should have a research expertise either in Second-Language Acquisition in a Francophone context, or in another research area within French and Francophone Studies. Applicants must have completed a PhD in French and must have experience of teaching French language and French SLA/culture/literature at Third Level.

The successful candidate will prepare, design, deliver and assess high-quality language and content modules in the French undergraduate and graduate programmes, as well as contributing to cross-School teaching, and will undertake such administrative duties as assigned by the Head of School or his/her nominee. Salary Scale: €54,848 - €86,235 per annum. Appointment will be made on scale and in accordance with the Department of Finance guideline.
