The University of Adelaide Enterprise Agreement 2017-2021 will apply to a successful candidate’s employment at the University. The University recently temporarily varied its Enterprise Agreement. Please be advised that the salary range, along with other conditions associated with this position, may change in accordance with the variation to the Enterprise Agreement.

Continuing, part-time (0.5 FTE) position available immediately

Exciting opportunity to work within a high-tech, accredited health care simulation teaching and assessment facility

The successful candidate will lead curriculum development, delivery and evaluation of teaching, as well as provide clinical leadership and coordination of teaching associated with simulation based education and assessment. The senior position will be required to implement innovative complex projects that enhance and progress educational opportunities for our learners and be involved in professional development of junior staff, and strategic planning for the centre.

To be successful you will need:

  • A PhD in the relevant discipline, or have equivalent qualifications/and or experience with health care simulation.
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the Australia Health Practitioner Registration Agency.
  • Demonstrated skills and experience in the preparation and delivery of lectures, tutorials, demonstrations and workshops; as well as marking and assessment activities; and a commitment to excellence in teaching.
  • Experience in the creation, delivery and evaluation of high-quality simulation enhanced education.
  • Experience in course coordination and the management of teaching and learning resources and staffing.
