About the area

The Chiropractic program at Murdoch University is offered by the Discipline of Psychology, Exercise Science, Chiropractic and Counselling, with students completing undergraduate and postgraduate courses at the Perth campus, located on South Street.

Chiropractic students hone their skills at the Murdoch University Chiropractic Clinic (MUCC), which an on campus  teaching and research facility. This modern, custom designed clinic at the Perth Campus features 16 large, modern chiropractic treatment rooms, a digital Radiology Suite and Rehabilitation Centre. Clinical skills are also enhanced by placements in outreach clinics and underpinned by a strong emphasis on evidence-based practice.

The Role

An opportunity exists for a Senior Lecturer in Chiropractic Radiology (Level C) at Murdoch University.

The successful candidate will be expected to contribute to the teaching and scholarly effort of the College through the preparation and delivery of lectures, tutorials, other types of teaching activities. This position also provides supervision of honours and postgraduate students and is expected to perform a range of administrative and service functions within the College and across the University.

What you’ll bring to this role:

  • We are seeking to attract an appointee who has prior experience teaching undergraduate students in the field of chiropractic radiology.
  • It is essential that the applicant has postgraduate training in chiropractic radiology: Diplomat of the American Board of Radiology or equivalent
  • Demonstrated experience in teaching at the undergraduate and/or postgraduate level.

Accreditation standards for Chiropractic programs require teaching staff who are appropriately qualified, registered and experienced.

Australian residency or possession of a valid visa with working entitlement in Australia is required this roles and VISA sponsorship is not available.
