Job Description
A postdoctoral research fellow position is available in the Department of Chemistry at the National University of Singapore. The project will involve interdisciplinary research on optoelectronic devices, such as photovoltaics, light-emitting diodes, displays, photo-sensors and wearable devices. The project will also involve advanced micro-fabrication techniques. The project has close links with the technology industry, and the candidate will have the opportunity to work with high-tech device manufacturers.
Qualifications
The candidate for the research fellow position should preferably have a PhD in relevant scientific/engineering disciplines with demonstrated publication or industry track record. All candidates should have keen interest in optoelectronic device and materials research. Candidates who have prior experience in micro-fabrication, optics and electronics are preferred. Candidates should preferably have a good theoretical understanding of optical physics, device physics, semiconductor materials, and spectroscopy.
