Job Purpose

We are seeking a highly motivated candidate with experience in immunology research. The staff is expected to work closely with the Principal Investigator to generate results for a grant project that investigates immune responses against hematological malignancy. The project will entail processing of patient specimens, conducting immunological assays, and protein chemistry experimentation. The staff will be responsible for lab management and providing support for other lab members.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree or above in the Life Sciences or Medicine. A Master's degree is a plus.

At least two years of lab work experience involving mammalian cell culture, immunological assays, flow cytometry, fluorescence microscopy and Western blotting. Experience in histology (paraffin embedding, sectioning and staining / immunohistochemistry) is preferred. The applicant will require attention to detail and is expected to be well-organized in the office and the laboratory.
