Applications are invited for this exciting role working in our Human Resources team. The Pay & Reward Business Partner will support SRUC in a lead role with the development and implementation of a new pay strategy and structure. This is a new role and the post holder working in collaboration with SRUC’s external partner and key stakeholders will have the opportunity to use their expertise and experience to influence:

  • the development of the new pay and grading strategy and steering its implementation
  • the development and delivery of appropriate project plans and reporting schedule

Although aligned to the HR team you will work collaboratively with a range of stakeholders including HR colleagues, leadership team members, senior and middle managers across SRUC, Trade Unions and external partners (in order to ensure the outcomes and objectives are understood and aligned with the agreed project delivery terms.

Occasional travel to SRUC locations across Scotland may be required to fulfil the requirements of the post.

This is a fixed term role for 3 years. Placement on the salary scale will be dependent on qualifications and experience. Consideration may be given to flexibility in the working hours.

To be considered for this role you should be educated to degree Level (preferably in HR, Training or related subject), or equivalent. Applicants possessing commensurate experience may be considered. You should possess demonstrable proven experience and knowledge of Pay and Reward best practice and employment legislation including developments in case law combined with proven delivery of successful reward projects.
