Job Description
The candidate will be working with the School of Medicine Bioinformatics Core group to set up automated pipelines for various bioinformatics analyses.
The candidate will be working with PIs in the Infectious Diseases Translational Research Programme to offer advice and help in their bioinformatics needs in areas such as
- Whole genome sequencing assemblies and analyses
- Transcriptomic analyses
- Microbiome data analyses
The candidate will offer training to research students and staff in the program to utilize existing software and programs for their bioinformatic analyses.
Qualifications
The candidate has a PhD and a background in bioinformatics, statistical analyses or computing with some knowledge of biology.
