Job Description

Conduct Machine Learning Research in the areas of recommendation systems and visual question answering. The candidate should have the ability to conduct independent research in order to incorporate external knowledge sources along with reasoning in machine learning. Given the data-driven approach, the privacy and security concerns of such machine learning models will need to be investigated. And research towards privacy-aware algorithms is expected to be conducted.

Qualifications

• A PhD degree in a relevant area;
• Excellent programming ability in Python/C/C++
• Excellent knowledge in deep learning frameworks, e.g., PyTorch, Tensorflow, Nengo
• Good written and verbal communication skills in English
• Familiarity with non-fully supervised learning
• Prior publications in major computer vision (CVPR/ICCV/ECCV) or machine learning (NeurIPS, ICML/ICLR) conferences is a plus.
