Faculty Director of Research & Enterprise

Full time (37 hours per week)

The Faculty of Science, Engineering, and Social Sciences wishes  wishes to appoint an enthusiastic and inspirational Faculty Director of Research and Enterprise. 

The Faculty of Science, Engineering, and Social Sciences has an active research, knowledge exchange, and enterprise community with both established and emerging interests across STEM, near STEM and non-STEM subject areas.  

The Faculty of Science, Engineering, and Social Sciences welcomes applications from committed, active, independent researchers and leaders with significant track records of achievement and research collaboration in area(s) relevant to the Faculty in academia and/or industry.

The research interests of applicants should align to the work of at least one School of the Faculty and a relevant REF Unit of Assessment (UoA). 

Applications are welcome from existing professors, or from individuals seeking immediate, short-term or medium-term advancement to this level. 

You will have the opportunity to join a Faculty consisting of four Schools:

  • Christ Church Business School
  • School of Psychology and Life Sciences
  • School of Law, Policing and Social Sciences
  • School of Engineering, Technology and Design

Each school consists of proactive teams of educators and researchers contributing to the learning and research community of the Faculty and University.
