About the position
As a talent acquisition professional, your task is to develop our recruitment lifecycle activities in relation to our entire diverse field of work. In this position, you will become familiar with the operating environment and development tasks of the university world, both in terms of the teaching and research staff as well as expert and support staff.
You will create and develop different models for acquiring capabilities for the needs of the entire university. You carry out and support director and key personnel recruitments, such as the directors and professors of faculties and units. In addition, we wish to build a suitable operating model for the university around direct search. Naturally, you are also involved in building the university's employer brand and thus ensuring the University of Helsinki's reputation as an attractive employer.
We invest a lot in a good candidate experience, and this is something that is especially important for us to ensure. In the position, you will further strengthen the activities of the candidate experience, recruitment communications and marketing. You support your HR colleagues doing recruitment in our units on practical issues. At the beginning of our new strategy period, which has just begun, we also want to further develop our practices in relation to recruitment feedback collection and departure discussions, for example.
This position is located in a team developing and supporting the activities of the employer brand and recruitment at the university level as a whole. In your role, you will support and spar our HR colleagues, train our staff, facilitate workshops and engage in network activities. You also support supervisors and leaders in recruitment issues.
What do we expect from you?
You are a recruitment and recruitment development professional with several years of experience in pushing through high-quality recruitment processes that add value to the applicant. We value strong experience in director and key personnel recruitment and direct search. Experience in personnel assessments is to your advantage. You master social media as a tool for modern recruitment marketing and have good marketing communication skills. You are very familiar with the different aspects of developing employer branding. Knowledge of the higher education sector and the academic environment is an advantage, but not a necessity. You will get familiar with the operating environment through your work.
We are looking for a new member to our team who enjoys an open work community and dares to bring out his/her own ideas. You have good interaction and cooperation skills and like to develop services and activities in cooperation with different stakeholders. You handle your duties in a determined manner and with a project style approach. You communicate clearly and convincingly both orally and in writing. Trainer experience and facilitation skills are also to your advantage in this task. You work fluently in English and have at least a helping knowledge of Finnish. You have a suitable university degree to support your success in this role.

The position is located in Human Resources, where about 120 HR professionals work. The Employer brand and Recruitment team is a team of seven specialists. We work on a wide range of goals related to employer branding, recruitment and international personnel issues in a good atmosphere.

The salary for the position is approximately EUR 4,000-4,400 per month, depending on your skills and previous work experience.
