Research Assistant, UCD School of Medicine
Applications are invited for a Temporary post of a Research Assistant within UCD School of Medicine.
Currently there is an urgent need for highly sensitive and rapid diagnostic tests for SARS-CoV-2 (COVID 19 disease) and Influenza A & B. The highest priority for such diagnostic tests is detection at the point-of-care (POC). POC testing can achieve high-quality diagnostic results within minutes. The aim of this research is to develop an immunoassay for all three viral infections for use in a single POC format.
The successful applicant will work as part of the team to assist in the performance of the research to produce and test the novel antibody sensors.
Salary Range: €23,061 - €35,922 per annum.
Appointment on the above range will be dependent upon qualifications and experience.
