Monash Education has an opportunity for a Lecturer - Counselling to join our high-performing team. As a Lecturer, you will play a key role in shaping the future of counselling and how to educate and support healthy communities, address health inequities, and promote mentally healthy lifestyles.

About YOU!

To be considered for this role, you will have demonstrated capability in teaching in areas of Counselling with experience in online and blended teaching. This is an opportunity to contribute positively and significantly to the Faculty’s strategy research priorities. 

The successful candidate will have:

  • A PhD and significant experience in counselling or psychology
  • Eligibility for membership with the Australian Counselling Association (ACA), or the Psychotherapy and Counselling Federation of Australia (PACFA), or general registration with the Psychology Board of Australia
  • Strong track record of teaching experience and demonstrable experience in achieving improved learning outcomes over sustained periods
  • An established and relevant research base to draw upon
