Role Description

Cranfield University School of Management welcomes applications for this opportunity to work in the exciting and important area of Leadership and Organizational Behaviour with our postgraduate students and executive clients across a range of programmes.

The School of Management has long been recognised as a leading centre of excellence for Organisational Behaviour and Applied (Organisational) Psychology teaching and learning For example it has never been out of the FT ranking of the “top of their class” Top 10 (in the world by subject), and was ranked #1 globally in 2015. Leadership and OB is core to nearly every programme. The Organisational Behaviour and Applied Psychology Group has ambitious plans including new cross campus masters programs and the creation of doctoral pathways in Organisational Psychology.

This post will be within the Organisational Behaviour and Applied Psychology Group and will report to the Group Head, Professor Richard Kwiatkowski.

You will provide teaching in the fields of leadership and organizational behaviour as well as leading modules and designing and developing teaching material.  You will undertake managerial and leadership responsibilities as appropriate. This post will be offered on either the Education & Scholarship track or the Research & Teaching track depending on the successful candidate’s previous track record.

You will preferably be educated to doctoral level (or equivalent, for example charted status) in a relevant subject and will have already developed some experience of teaching or training in this field. You might also have publications or conference presentations. With excellent communication skills, you will be able to collaborate effectively with academics, practitioners and policy makers. You will be respectful towards others and collegiate in approach. Experience of teaching and leading modules at post-graduate level is a plus.
