Salary from £39,152 - £49,553 pro rata per annum. 

The School of Psychology at the University of Lincoln is seeking to appoint a Clinical Tutor to join the Programme team of the Trent Doctoral Training Programme in Clinical Psychology. The successful candidate for this post will support the Senior Clinical Tutor for Lincoln University and ensure the delivery of the clinical practice component of the Programme for trainees registered at the University of Lincoln. The post-holder will be expected to contribute to teaching and research activities on the Programme, provide occasional cover for the other clinical tutors, act as personal tutor to trainees and build on the already excellent relations between the course and its supervisor base.

The Trent Programme developed through a partnership of Derbyshire Mental Health Services NHS Trust, Lincolnshire Partnership NHS Trust (LPFT), University of Lincoln, Nottinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust and The University of Nottingham. The Programme currently has an intake of 24 trainees per year, 12 are registered at the University of Lincoln. The School of Psychology at Lincoln is an expanding department within a university that has established a reputation as one of the most dynamic and fastest growing in the UK: the University of Lincoln was recently named as the Modern University of the Year in The Times and Sunday Times Good University Guide 2021.

Following recent expansions, the University of Lincoln has positioned itself as a major provider of applied psychology healthcare training courses in the East Midlands. Through providing high-quality mental health training and research, and by supporting the NHS to develop a highly skilled mental health workforce, the School of Psychology is making a significant contribution to both local mental health services and to the well-being of the local community and is placed at the centre of mental health developments in the area. 

The School of Psychology has a purpose-built building shared with the School of Health and Social Care with an extensive range of well-equipped dedicated research equipment including EEG, TMS, Eye tracking (Tobii, Eyelink, DPI, Ober and VSG), Transcranial Doppler Ultrasound imaging and a 3D body and face scanner. There are also specific labs dedicated to Psychobiology, Sleep and Baby research and resources to support comparative / animal-based research in the field.
