Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Neuromorphic Computing with Emerging Nanoelectronic Devices in the Department of Electrical and Electronic Engineering (Ref.: 503914), to commence as soon as possible for one to three years.

Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Applied Physics, Materials Science, Computer Science or related areas. Past experience in nanoelectronic devices fabrication/testing/modelling, CMOS circuit design, system architecture and benchmarking, and machine learning algorithms would be desirable. Applicants should have a good command of written and spoken English; be highly self-motivated; and be able to work independently.

The appointee will be responsible for fabricating and/or testing of nanoelectronic devices for computation applications, designing new systems, and simulations and benchmarking of performance and comparison to other technologies.  He/She will work under the supervision of Dr. C. Li.

A highly competitive salary commensurate with qualifications and experience will be offered, in addition to annual leave and medical benefits.  At current rates, salaries tax does not exceed 15% of gross income.
