Job Description
Postdoctoral fellow position in the Carbene & Organometallic Chemistry laboratory of A/P Huynh Han Vinh, Department of Chemistry, NUS, Singapore
We seek a highly-driven and motivated junior or senior postdoctoral fellow with strong expertise in the area of chemistry and surface science. In particular, she or he will be exploring methods for selective etching in the pursuit of improving the fabrication of interconnects in semiconductors. In order to achieve this a detailed understanding on the chemistry of various current etching methodologies is crucial. In addition, s/he will assist the PI in overseeing daily operations of the lab and training junior lab members.
Qualifications
- The candidate must hold (or be close to conferment of) an internationally recognized Ph.D. or equivalent degree in related research areas and have a proven, strong track record in experimental research.
- The position is available immediately, and the candidate will be offered a 1- or 2-year contract with possible extension to 3 or more years, depending on research performance.
