The La Trobe University Library provides the University with a clear strategic advantage in learning, teaching and research through the provision of the best possible information resources and services. The Digital Innovation team is responsible for ensuring the planning, development and evaluation of online educational resources and the delivery of digital learning and library skills to students is integrated across all Library functions.

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic, team-focused individual to join our Library Digital Innovation team. This position requires highly developed technical and visual design skills to support Library colleagues in the design and development of online resources and learning objects in a range of formats that are aligned with library priorities in teaching, learning and research.

Skills & Experience

To succeed in this role, you will be experienced in instructional design methodologies and be up to date with the latest innovations, best practices, and industry trends. Demonstrated experience working and collaborating in a high performing, customer-focused team is essential, as well as high-level communication skills. Technical proficiency using web-based technologies and digital learning tools such as H5P, Photoshop, Premiere, Videoscribe, Articulate Storyline, Captivate, Camtasia, video production and basic audio editing skills is essential.
