Staffordshire University, Appointment of Vice-Chancellor

The Connected University

Staffordshire University has transformed itself over the last five years, by becoming a Gold standard provider of teaching and learning, gaining historically high positions in the UK league tables and achieving financial sustainability at a time of turbulence in the sector. We are now renowned for our pride, ambition, determination, resilience and risk taking. We are modern, digital, technologically savvy and a sector disruptor. We have a strong sense of strategic direction and of purpose, informed by our heritage, our roots and our commitment to providing transformative life chances for all. The pandemic, whilst challenging for some institutions, has galvanised our strengths and pushed us forwards at an even greater pace to achieve some remarkable results during this unprecedented period.

We are now seeking our next Vice-Chancellor, someone exceptional who will provide a unique imprint on our future, who will build upon our strengths and who will lead and shape our next chapter as we head towards 2030 and beyond.

As our next Vice-Chancellor you will have deep knowledge and experience of the national, and ideally global, higher education sector. Creative, entrepreneurial and visionary, you will be a skilled, empathetic and inclusive leader who will inspire and empower our people to deliver their very best, to serve our communities and fulfil our collective ambitions.

Location: Staffordshire

The closing date for applications is midnight (GMT) on Tuesday 1st June 2021.
