The Faculty of Arts Design and Social Sciences have a number of posts within the professional technical support team currently available in the following areas:

Fashion: Pattern Cutting, Garment Construction

Industrial Design: Metalwork / Woodwork, Machinery operator, Model Making,

These posts are primarily focused on their respective areas of specialism but support within the wider University may occasionally be required.  The role holders will require focused skills and knowledge to support a range of operational tasks to support staff, students and stakeholders within the Faculty.

As well as a range of day to day general duties, each of these posts will be supportive of learning, teaching, research and enterprise activity in the faculty and a strong working knowledge of skills within these areas will be required.
