The School is one of the foremost Education departments in Europe.

In line with its ambition to be a world-leading centre for research and teaching, this flourishing School is seeking to appoint a new research active Lecturer whose research interests align with innovation in Teaching and Learning . The successful applicant would join one of our research centres as a teaching and learning innovation specialist.  

Applications are invited from those who have a successful  track record of research and publication in the areas of innovation in teaching and learning and who possess ambitions in line with those of the School. You will have a PhD or equivalent qualifications and experience in Education or in a related discipline, and relevant post-graduate teaching or lecturing experience.  

This is a full time permanent post. You will be expected to teach across a range of courses reflecting your academic interests and experience, and to participate fully in the research activities of the School.

You will be an integral member of a research centre and therefore need to be a team player as well as capable of leading your own research agenda. You will be able to demonstrate how you will be ready for  future  REF submission through a publication record and research trajectory that demonstrates high quality. There will be opportunities to develop your knowledge and expertise through staff development courses and events.
