Salary based on SUSU's Pay Band B with a full-time equivalent salary of £17,682 to £18,709 subject to experience.

35 hours per week.

The Role

As a The Advice Centre's Receptionist & Adminstrative Assistant at SUSU, you'll be part of a fast-paced, expert team working together to deliver our Advice Centre offer. You'll provide a fantastic customer experience by operating the reception service, taking calls and emails from students in need of assistance, and operating the triage system for incoming enquiries. You'll accurately record student data on Advice Pro, ensure our Advice Centre policies are upheld, and supervise and ensure efficient admin function of the Advice Centre.

About You

You should hold relevant and demonstrable experience of working successfully in an office environment, preferrably in a Higher Education/Student-facing setting. You should have excellent IT, admin, and organisational skills, and be able manage your own time with minimal supervision. It's also essential that you have excellent communication and interpersonal skills to be reflected in written, telephone, and face-to-face contact with students, colleagues, and stakeholders, and be able to deal with sensitive issues with utmost confidentiality. It's desirable that you have experience and knowledge of issues facing the student body, but this is not essential. You can find the full Person Specification within the Role Profile attached.
