Southampton Education School is seeking to appoint a Director of Enterprise to lead, manage, and promote the development of the school’s enterprise strategy along with generating enterprise income.
You will manage enterprise projects and support the implementation of activities for the effectiveness of enterprise processes, including KEF (Knowledge Exchange Framework) and monitoring. In addition, you will support the impact of the school research and educational activities through the identification of enterprise opportunities, engagement with external stakeholders and the dissemination of best practice in enterprise.
The successful appointee will work with the Director of Internationalisation to support connections of colleagues with international educational organisations that will lead to impactful collaborative education, research projects and income-generating enterprise activities. You will also work collaboratively with colleagues in developing links with local, regional, national and international educational bodies, and organisations to identify high quality students, utilising our enterprise activity to support student recruitment to these programmes.
You will hold a PhD or equivalent professional qualifications and experience in any discipline that supports the research agenda of the School of Education. You will possess proven stakeholder engagement skills with the ability to work collegiately across the School and the wider University and experience of developing relationships with regional, national and international education organisations.
