Join our team!
We are seeking to recruit a Lecturer in Health Technology Innovation & Assessment with a national academic reputation in this important subject discipline.
If you have a Doctorate and are a health professional or health services researcher with a passion for health technology research, innovation, and assessment then this is the role for you! We are seeking an individual with a growing track record of research income generation and high-quality research publications in this field. You will join a team of highly experienced academic staff within the School of Health and Social Care and have the opportunity to work collaboratively with other academic colleagues across the University (e.g. health professionals, laboratory scientists, engineers, computer scientists and others).
You will also work closely with our Professor of Health Technology, Innovation and Assessment and other colleagues in our two new research centres being developed in the School focused on cardiovascular health and mental health practice, policy and law. A fully funded PhD studentship has been allocated to support the research of the successful candidate.
The key focus of this role is research; however, you will be a member of the Health and Social Care Sciences Subject Group and have an opportunity teach on our new suite of Post graduate programmes, which includes an MSc in digital health.
You will be supported in the role to further develop your own academic career through access to a range of resources available to all University staff and through a coaching approach to personal development.
We work in an inclusive way and can support flexible and remote working.
If you’re excited at the prospect of joining our fantastic interprofessional team then we’d love to receive an application from you!
