Are you an experienced educator looking to assist the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Saliva testing programme? Do you have a background in Education?
There is 1.6 FTE available. We would consider a job share for these roles covering both primary and secondary sectors.
The successful applicant must have skill level equivalent to achievement of a HND, Degree, NVQ4 in relevant field or equivalent professional experience in educational technology.
We are looking for professional and proactive individuals to support the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Saliva testing programme to support the development of a comprehensive educational engagement programme, with a focus on online delivery, for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Saliva testing programme You will develop resources to educational engagement of children and young people, increasing their scientific literacy, using relevant contexts such as the COVID-19 pandemic. These educational resources will be developed for both in-person and online delivery, so experience of online delivery and e-learning packages would be advantageous. You will have experience of teaching in different educational phases and be confident in developing and delivering teacher professional development. Working across a variety of internal and external stakeholders, this excellent opportunity requires strong writing and communications skills, alongside a commitment to teamworking. You will be supporting activities for the Hampshire and Isle of Wight Saliva testing programme led by teams at the University Hospital Southampton and University of Southampton.
This role will mainly be based from home. This role may require some UK travel, when this is possible.
