You will join us to work on the design, assembly and characterisation of integrated electronic and silicon photonic devices towards state of the art, high-speed photonic data transmission.

The EPSRC funded project will be supervised by Professor Graham Reed, Dr Li Ke and Professor David Thomson who have strong, internationally renowned track records in the fields of silicon photonics and integration with CMOS electronics, and will involve interaction with an industry partner. The successful candidate will join a team of over 40 researchers focusing on the field of Silicon Photonics, based at the Optoelectronics Research Centre, University of Southampton, UK.
