About the role

The Office of the Vice Chancellor provides operational and strategic support to the Vice Chancellor, and is responsible for directing institutional planning and development, implementation of University policy, providing leadership to the University’s Executive and other staff, formulating the University's annual budget and monitoring and evaluating the performance of the University and its constituent parts in relation to its academic, financial and organisational goals and policies.

The Senior Data and Research Analyst is responsible for delivering analysis and action plans of Southern Cross University’s Indigenous admissions schemes and pathways.

The remuneration package for this position is up to $127,085 per annum (inclusive of base salary $105,162-$116,059 per annum and employer's contribution to superannuation).

About you

You will have the proven ability to synthesise large sets of data from multiple drivers and unrelated sources and experience in the development and application of analytical business tools. You will possess advanced communication skills and the ability to provide engaging advice and effectively translate and present complex concepts and information. With advanced interpersonal skills you build effective relationships with colleagues across diverse stakeholder groups;and at all levels influence, negotiate and facilitate the delivery of successful outcomes.

You will possess tertiary level qualification in statistics, market research, business or similar with extensive relevant experience in an analytical or institutional research or an equivalent combination of relevant experience, education /training.
