Applications are invited for appointment as Post-doctoral Fellow in Dementia Care in the Department of Social Work and Social Administration (Ref.: 503772), to commence as soon as possible for two years, with the possibility of renewal subject to satisfactory performance and funding availability.

The Department is conducting projects on non-pharmacological interventions for people with dementia and their caregivers to develop evidence-based care and practice models in dementia. Applicants should possess a Ph.D. degree in Social Work, Psychology, Psychiatry, Public Health or a related discipline. They should have experience in collaborative applied research with community partners; proficiency in written and spoken English and Chinese; excellence in analytical evaluation and generation of practical solutions; familiarity with advanced quantitative and qualitative statistical analyses in social sciences research; and ability to work independently and as a team player.

The appointee will be responsible for planning, managing, coordinating, and implementing research activities on dementia care; overseeing data collection and data analysis; and drafting reports and related publications. He/She will also supervise research assistants and perform any other relevant tasks as assigned.
