Job Description

You will be responsible to lead and drive the talent acquisition (TA) / recruitment and employer branding efforts for SUSS to attract quality talent to meet the university’s hiring needs. In order to maintain a strong candidate pipeline, you are required to adopt a pro-active and multi-pronged talent acquisition approach to attract and recruit strong talents.
 
Key Responsibilities

  • Provides supervision, direction and training to TA team members related to the recruitment processes, systems, timelines of hire, market insight, sourcing platforms and methods for different roles and talent segments
  • Responsible for the full lifecycle of recruiting services including job posting, proactive candidate sourcing through social media, networking and referrals, interviewing & selection processes, offer management, process documentation, compliance management and status communication with candidates and hiring managers
  • Consults and supports hiring managers to determine the recruitment and candidate sourcing strategy, establish priorities, strategies and metrics to ensure alignment with delivering business/functional and TA goals
  • Leverages on multiple recruiting sources and techniques to identify and engage active and passive candidates, including LinkedIn, search engines, niche job boards, social media, user groups, and blogs
  • Optimise the use of existing ATS in HR System, suggests process enhancements and analytic capabilities to achieve efficiencies in recruiting activities
  • Enhances TA work efficiencies by reviewing and initiating relevant changes to talent acquisition programs, system and policies 
  • Partners and supports internal departments on manpower planning and utilisation to meet the evolving operation and strategic needs of the university
  • Develops and implements social media recruitment marketing and employer branding strategies and activities to attract high quality talents
  • Engages and leads a variety of TA projects including strategic and operational work

Job Requirements

  • Minimum Bachelor's degree in HR or equivalent in related field
  • Possess at least 6 years of relevant HR work experience particularly in the area of Talent Sourcing, Acquisition and Operations
  • Rich sourcing experience in traditional and non-traditional sources like database, networks, job boards, social media, online forums, Blogs etc.
  • Experienced in executing social media recruitment and branding activities on LinkedIn 
  • Good organizational skills and able to multi-task
  • Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office Suite and experience in the use of application tracking systems 
  • Good knowledge of social media platforms and online recruitment strategy
