 This post will be within the Organisational Behaviour and Applied Psychology Group, a growing team of OB specialists and Applied Psychologists. Cranfield School of Management has long been recognised as a leading centre of excellence for Organisational Behaviour and Applied (Organisational) Psychology teaching and learning.  It has never been out of the FT ranking of the “top of their class” Top 10 OB departments (in the world by subject), and was ranked #1 globally in 2015. OB is core to nearly every programme in the School of Management as we develop people for the future; the success of every enterprise depends on its people, and our graduates fill senior positions in global firms, in industry, in consultancy, in charities and not for profit enterprises.

The Organisational Behaviour and Applied Psychology Group has ambitious plans including cross campus masters programs and the creation of doctoral pathways in Organisational Psychology. Both roles will report directly to the Group Head, Professor Richard Kwiatkowski. The Group sits with the CWW Group Headed by Professor Emma Parry and so interesting cross fertilisation often occurs, for example concerning HR, Flexibility, or Gender Leadership and Inclusion.

You will provide teaching in the fields of leadership, Organisational behaviour, and applied /Organisational psychology (depending on role) as well as leading modules and designing and developing teaching material.  You will undertake managerial and leadership responsibilities as appropriate. These posts will be offered on either the Education & Scholarship track or the Research & Teaching track depending on the successful candidates. We envisage one post at Senior Lecturer Level (Leadership & OB) and the other at either L or SL (OB-AP) depending on qualifications and experience.

You will preferably be educated to doctoral level (or equivalent, for example charted status) in a relevant subject (Leadership related and Psychology related, respectively) and will have already developed some experience of teaching or training in the field.  You might also have publications or conference presentations. With excellent communication skills, you will be able to collaborate effectively with academics, practitioners and policy makers.  You will be respectful towards others and collegiate in approach. Experience of teaching and leading modules at post-graduate level is a plus.
