The Conservatory is seeking a full-time Instructor/Teaching Assistant in the Audio Arts & Sciences. The initial term of appointment shall be for one year (renewable). Responsibilities of the appointment include:

• Teaching and/or providing teaching support for Audio Arts and Science modules.
• Supervising and supporting Audio Arts and Science students in their recording projects.
• Working closely with faculty and staff to take forward activities and developments in connection with conservatory’s concerts and recitals.
• Reflecting critically on activities undertaken in a manner which enables dissemination of experiences and of best practices.  

Qualifications

The successful candidate is expected to have at least a good Honours degree in Music or Audio Arts and at least 2 years working experience in the music industry. Some prior teaching experience would be advantageous. Candidates should also have strong music recording and editing skills on Protocols recording system, familiar with large format digital console and both studio and live sound technology.
