To assist on the analytical and numerical investigation of the solutions and solution methods to the different variants of the nonlinear Schroedinger equation. Work includes working with analytical methods to solve nonlinear differential equations such as the inverse scattering transform, Darboux transformation, in addition to numerical methods. Knowledge of Mathematica and Fortran or C++ is required.
