We now seek to appoint a Pro-Vice Chancellor (Education).  Reporting to the Vice-Chancellor, and as a member of the University Executive, you will shape and contribute to the University’s Vision, Strategy and supporting plans, providing strategic leadership across all activities related to education. You will lead colleagues to implement the education strategy and encourage innovation in learning and teaching in pursuit of excellent outcomes for all Northumbria students. 

Good candidates will bring the ability to think strategically about the future of higher education.  Significant experience of driving change and transformation alongside a knowledge of policy developments will be essential. The appointed candidate will possess a high level of academic credibility and the ability to develop effective working relationships with key internal and external stakeholders.  The successful applicant will join an innovative and ambitious University that is passionate about inspiring people to learn and to achieve and is committed to providing an excellent student experience and fostering research excellence at the highest levels.
