Role Description

Cranfield University’s world-class expertise, large-scale facilities and unrivalled industry partnerships is creating leaders in technology and management globally. Learn more about Cranfield and our unique impact here.

Are you passionate about customer service? Our HR recruitment team welcomes applications from people who are as committed to customer service as we are, to join our busy team as an administrator, providing a high quality professional and proactive recruitment support to our internal and external customers.

About HR&D

The HR & D service provides a framework for the management and development of our people and organisation which underpins the University’s strategic plan and objectives. This includes policy development, talent attraction, talent management, employee relations, diversity, organisational change, performance enhancement and general HR operational management.

About the Role

As a key member of the Recruitment team, you will manage your own recruitment campaigns for candidates and hiring managers, ensuring the smooth running of recruitment across the whole University. You will provide first class administration services and ensure efficiency, professionalism, and high standards of customer experience.

You will join a supportive team environment with the potential for future career development opportunities. The recruitment team forms part of the wider HR and Development service.

About You

This opportunity would suit an experienced, customer focused administrator with a keen interest in recruitment practices, although previous HR recruitment experience is not necessary as training will be provided. You should have a good standard of education and proven administration skills with experience of working in a busy and pressurised environment.

Our Values

Our shared, stated values help to define who we are and underpin everything we do: Ambition; Impact; Respect; and Community. Find out more here. We aim to create and maintain a culture in which everyone can work and study together and realise their full potential.

Diversity and Inclusion

Our equal opportunities and diversity monitoring has shown that minority ethnic groups are currently underrepresented within the university and so we actively encourage applications from eligible candidates from these groups, in addition to other underrepresented protected characteristic areas, such as disability and LGBTQ+.

Flexible Working

We actively consider flexible working options such as part-time, compressed or flexible hours and/or an element of homeworking, and whether a position can be carried out at any of our locations.  We commit to exploring the possibilities for each role. Find out more here.
