Department of Human Resource Management (HRM) & Organisational Behaviour (OB) 

Southampton Business School has an ambitious quality driven strategy, which will see us strengthen our position as a world-class Business School in research, education and enterprise. As an AMBA and AACSB accredited Business School we are seeking to recruit a number of outstanding individuals for key research and teaching positions in a number of disciplines as outlined below to play a crucial role in the School achieving its vision which includes securing EQUIS accreditation within the next 12 months. Applications will be considered from candidates interested in part time hours of 0.6FTE and above.

The Department of HRM and OB brings together internationally renowned academics with teaching and research interests in critical management & organisation studies, industrial relations, labour unions, leadership, ethics, CSR and sustainability, careers, alternative organising, and the future of work. Members of the department have published in top tier journals such as the Academy of Management Annals, British Journal of Management, Gender, Work & Organizations, Human Relations, Human Resource Management, Journal of Business Ethics, Journal of Management, Journal of Management Studies, Journal of Managerial Psychology, Journal of Vocational Behavior, Organization Studies, Organization and Work, Employment and Society. The department has a thriving undergraduate and postgraduate portfolio, which is built on the staff research strengths and expertise. 

You will have a PhD (or equivalent degree/professional qualifications and experience) as well as a well-established academic reputation in your specialist discipline, demonstrated by a significant record of high-quality published research (minimum CABS 3*level or equivalent standing). Visible, engaged and collegiate you will have extensive experience of teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate level and be passionate about developing and disseminating successful learning techniques, as well as a track record in securing research funding.   

For applicants interested in a Part Time role, please note: This role is unlikely to support a Certificate of Sponsorship with a part time salary amount (a Certificate of Sponsorship is required to obtain a Skilled Worker visa to work in the UK).
